Meet Jasmine M. Jackson
I’ve worked hard over the years to build trust with the public. I’ve answered the phones, responded to the emails, tracked down the records, and stayed late when someone needed help. Because that’s what public service means to me — showing up, and doing it right.
I haven’t done it alone. It’s been in partnership with my staff, with the people, with the attorneys who care deeply about doing this work the right way. The laws in place and the need for public service held us accountable, and also been a source of insight and encouragement.

Now I’m asking you to join me again — not just as supporters of this campaign, but as partners in a vision for an even better Register of Wills office. One that works with the legal community, not around it. One that serves every person who walks through our doors with dignity, accuracy, and care.
MY CURRENT AND FUTURE PRIORITIES AS YOUR REGISTER:
- Community Commitment – This is not a political stepping stone for me, I am only interested in working in and improving the Register of Wills office. What started as a Summer job almost 20 years ago has become my career. Every day I am overcoming challenges and am continuously learning.
- Public Outreach – We all know the importance of estate planning, but many families don’t. I want to build educational initiatives that empower people before they’re in crisis. Those that have taught me and those I have trained are dedicated to serving the all members of our community.
- Staff Excellence – A good office starts with a good team. I’ll focus on recruiting, training, and retaining the kind of staff you want to work with — knowledgeable, respectful, and efficient.
- Attorney Support – I want to create more open communication between the office and attorneys — whether that’s quick updates on rule changes, online resources, or roundtable discussions. You shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to do your job.
I plan on remaining in the position of Register long-term, using every piece of experience I’ve gained so far to assist, educate, listen to and collaborate with those in need.
